We want to begin this week’s update with a heartfelt “Thank You” to all the wonderful frontline workers and service providers who support our community during these hard times. To all the wonderful doctors, nurses, hospital and lab staff, dentists, delivery staff, farmers, teachers, grocery workers, sanitation workers, emergency service workers, researchers, security service worker and all other wonderful people who help us stay at home at this time, we would like to say: “We honor you and appreciate what you do. Thank you!”
Along with the rest of the province, we are getting ready to re-open our clinics’ doors again. We are working on new administrative and clinical protocols to ensure the health and safety of our team and patients as our clinics begin to operate again. Hopefully, we will have more details to share with you soon.
In the meantime, and until the further notice, we will maintain the following practices in all our clinics:
- All three locations are closed to walk-in and non-emergency patients.
- During this time, we only provide emergency services to our patients who require urgent treatment. Our emergency service is by appointment only.
- Phone and email services are slower at this time. We will respond to all phone messages and emails, but it will be at a slower pace.
