Pediatric Dentistry
As a family dentistry group, ComfoDent is committed to looking after the oral health of every member of its community, including the young ones. Pediatric dentists, also known as Pedodontists are specially trained to interact with children properly to build a positive relationship between them and their dental care provider. Our pedodontists have the qualifications and experience to look after children’s teeth, gum and general oral health.
It is important to note that The American Dental Association and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry state that the first dental visit should occur within six months after the baby’s first tooth appears, and before baby’s first birthday. At ComfoDent clinics, we strive to provide the most comfortable and reliable services to our young patients, to take better care of their oral health, educate them about its importance and building a strong relationship between them and their dental care providers.
Do children with baby teeth need to visit a dentist?
Of course! Although it is true that most baby teeth are not permanent and will eventually be replaced by adult teeth. However, improper oral health during childhood can cause oral decay, diseases, and complications that may last a lifetime. It is crucial that children visit their dentists regularly to maintain excellent dental care throughout their childhood.
